I came across the charity walk for naomi 3 years ago through a friend. This charity is close to my heart. Walk for naomi is a charity set up to help family's who unexpectedly loose a child in a road traffic accident. Some of the money raised goes to help these familys towards the funeral costs, or a beautiful headstone. Naomi her self was taken away far to soon in her life due to a road traffic accident. This charity was set up and is run by Naomi's family who go out of there way to help family's who go through the pain that them selves have had to go through. Trying to take away evwn just a little part of the pressure of costs that is not needed when you loose someone so precious to you. As you are all mostly aware i lost my brother to a road traffic accident 10 years ago this May. When i came across this charity i made it my mission to complete this challenge in memory of my brother. He to grew his wings far to young, and had his whole life ahead of him. This challenge is again the first week in august over 3 days wednesday to friday. The long hard walk of 63 miles starting in Halifax town centre on the wednesday morning and finishing on the friday evening in Blackpool. This walk is hard. It brings tears. It brings hurt and pain. The weather is not nice to us all the time. Windy, raining, 2017 we camped in a barn due to tents breaking with the weather being so bad. We carried on. We got to the finish line. We smashed it 💪 if by me walking this 63 miles and i help just one family with funding towards a funeral that should never be then i am happy that all the pain is worth it. I am happy that in a familys time of need so badly, a beautiful charity like this one is ready to step in and help. I have been in these shoes. It is not a nice place to be. Please donate.
