I've raised £1500 to Purchase a hospital grade chair for people with back problems for Brabourne ward.

My Mum Debbie spent two years fighting Multiple Myeloma before it took her life. Mum was an active, fit, health 50 year old before Cancer took her mobility from her. The cancer broken her spine in multiple places and she struggled to sit comfortably. Mum spent a lot of time in and out of hospital but was always stuck in bed because she couldn't sit in the hard upright chairs that were in the hospital ward. Mum hated being stuck in bed, it made her feel like a sick person. We have decided to fundraise to purchase a hospital grade recliner chair for Brabourne ward so that other cancer patients with back problem can get out of their beds and sit in a chair allowing them to have a little normality. When Mum was admitted to pilgrims hospice they had some amazing recliner chairs which Mum could sit in comfortably. Our mission is to fundraise as a family until we have enough money to purchase the chair. All donations from my Mums funeral will be put in to this Just giving page.
