At Barley and Barkway School, we are passionate about providing every child with the support and opportunities they need to thrive. To enhance our provision for small group work, targeted interventions, and individualised learning, we are raising funds to create a new additional learning space that will benefit students, families, and professionals alike.

Mrs. Makewell, the school’s art teacher, will be embarking on the real-life journey, climbing some of Mount Everest , that’s an impressive 1,700 flights of stairs to reach base camp during the holiday. In support of her adventure, the children at the school are aiming to climb the same number of stairs at home.

We will be hoping to finish our climb as a whole school on the same day that Mrs. Makewell reaches hers.

We are aiming to raise £30,000 to create this vital learning space. Your generous donation, no matter how big or small, will help us bring this vision to life and ensure that our students receive the support and opportunities they deserve.
