2 weeks ago my dads daughter/my sister was taken away by her mum/my step mum/his wife. The police are involved as well as social service. As she has 50% rights she can by law do this, so to can my father. She is meant to allow contact but has not contacted him. He is distraught!! We have no idea where she is. All she ever talked about was wanting to go home to the philippines. She planned this and fear she is going to take my sister. A family lawyer cost minimum £2000 to fight for custody. Unfortunately there is no free funding. If i had the money right now id give it im a heartbeat. It feels wrong asking for help from strangers. Desperate times seek desperate measures.
