Story

On Sunday 8th June, the Kennington Bethlehem Link is hosting a fundraising walk in support of our friends in Aida refugee camp, situated close to Bethlehem.

Our friends in the Aida Youth Centre have experienced much disruption and violence in the past year, and our efforts aim to show solidarity and practical support. The ‘stops’ on our walk are inspired by their courage and resilience. On route to St. Anselm’s Church, the Imperial War Museum, Archbishop’s Park, St. Thomas’s Hospital, Parliament Square, Christchurch Gardens and Victoria Tower Gardens, we will reflect on past acts of courage that have offered hope in dark and difficult times.

Our walk begins at 3.00 pm on Sunday 8th June, at the Tinworth Fountain Gate in Kennington Park, and concludes at Victoria Tower Gardens, south of the Houses of Parliament at around 5:30 pm.

Registration is a mimimum £5.00 using the link on this page.

The Kennington Bethlehem Link looks forward to welcoming many of you on the day.
