Story
Hi friends & followers..I have signed up for a great charity swim in Sevenoaks being organised by the wonderful Ellie Lake. We aim to collectively raise £2000 through swimming in aid of fighting two great causes, Perinatal Mental Health and Ovarian Cancer. Both of these very serious conditions needs as much funding and support as possible and Ellie has come up with a great way to connect with the public and get everyone behind the participants taking part in the swim.
I have signed up to do a 5K swim which is about 335 lengths of New Beacon Pool...I might get a little dizzy :o) Please show your support and make a donation through the
'Just Giving' web page to help these very needy causes…good luck everyone and a special thank you to all those involved organising this magical event and also those sponsoring us on this special journey….Swim Coach Kenny xxx

7 years agoWhat a fab team effort by by all those involved at the big swim today. I believe we have raised over £4000 collectively for the charities we were swimming which is such a wonderful thing. Thanks everyone involved and all the kind people who so kindly donated to all of us ....the swim team. I managed the whole swim front crawl without a stop or take on water and now I am home, I am going to very quietly going to lie down and curl up!

7 years agoI want so to thank everyone who has been so kind and donate to the wonderful causes we are all swimming for tomorrow. It will really spur me on to My 5k swim which will involve over 300 turns so I might get a little dizzy on the way.. I want to thank everyone involved who has set this up with a special thanks to Ellie Lake. I might get hooked on this kind of event and I have already been entered for a 10K river charity swim in the RiverDart in September. Good luck to everyone taking part tomorrow at New Beacon School in Sevenoaks...Kenny xxx

Help raise £1500 to BEAT THE MONSTER SWIM 5K RAISE FUNDS FOR PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH I have a long background in sport and competed for Great Britain in the V.European Games in 1997. I took up Tri athlons in my thirties and found my love for swimming which I now thrive on.
