Story

Myself and my brother in law Kenny are running the great scottish run half marathon on 30th sep 2018. My other brother in law William will be doing the 10k on tbe same day. We have decided to try and raise money for a couple a local charities a long the way. These are 2 small charities that we feel would benefit massively with a few extra pounds to help them.

The first is Musical Memories. This is for people with dementia and their carers who meet on monday afternoons through Springburn Parish Church for a wee sing song of some of their favourite songs. My gran used to go there before she passed away and loved it. The group helped her to do what she loved and thats singing.

The second charity is Rookie Minds. This is a charity for helping kids with mental health issues through counselling. Kennys sister works for them, so we know first hand how much of a great job they do.

Both these charities are quite small so we thought it would be alot better to raise money for them rather than the usual big ones who get quite alot of sponsers. if you could spare a few pennys we would be very grateful.

We are not setting a target money wise as we feel anything we raise will be great for the charities.

Thanks in advance John, Kenny & William
