Story
In October 2020, Kenny had a terrible accident at home resulting in the loss of half of the fingers on his left hand. After a difficult and challenging period of recovery and 10 months of rehabilitation, he has regained as much function as possible. However, his hand surgeon has highlighted the existence of a kind of prosthetic aid that would allow him to significantly increase functionality and, once again, carry out many of the daily tasks that most of us take for granted. Unfortunately, the cost of this technology is not covered by Belgian health insurance.
Family and friends in Belgium are raising funds for Kenny. One of his closest friends is walking over 750km to Compostela, and we are setting up this page to enable those of us in the UK to support this goal. We would be very grateful if you could provide any funds you feel able to give.
Those who may have met Kenny will know he is extremely funny, a talented musician and a dedicated new father and we would love to be able to help him.
