Story
In support of the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Ukraine, we have so far raised over £20,000 to enable our objective of providing aid on the ground both in Ukraine and Poland become a reality.
We are continuing with our fund-raising with the aim of sending a second aid van to the Polish/Ukraine border.
Our funds will aid the humanitarian efforts in support of the refugees who have left their homes and neighbourhoods plus, where we can, to help those that have resolutely chosen to stay in Ukraine.
The items we provide will help the local Polish community in their efforts to support refugees, the refugees themselves, AND, as we have in past, we hope to send additional support and aid across the border via local links to those still in their homes within Ukraine and defending everything that means something to them and to us… their freedom and liberty.
Your donation will be used to purchase items such as those below:
• Medical and first aid supplies
• Toiletries
• Long-life food items
• Sleeping bags, blankets
• Warm clothes and coats
• Shoes in good condition and suitable
We are proud that your contributions and efforts to date were recognised by the Managing General Agent’s Association, whose Community Wellbeing Award our Ukraine Appeal recently won.
A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed so far.
The crisis in Ukraine continues with no end in sight, so it is vital that we continue to campaign and support this humanitarian crisis.
Any donations, large and small are welcome.
We continue to stand together with Ukraine.
