Hello all. 5 years ago, we travelled to Kenya on holiday and whilst there, we visited a local school. This was really upsetting as the children had very few desks or chairs, many had 6 children gathered around 1 desk. They had close to zero learning materials as you can see from the photograph. The children are so desperate for an education and we would like to do anything that we can to help. We are holding a fundraising event on Saturday 12th May, to raise as much as we can for this school. This will help us have many desks and chairs made for the school, and also to purchase lots of books, pencils and other learning tools for the children. We will be visiting the school in June, and will be there when the desks/chairs and equipment arrives. Please help us by coming along and purchasing tickets for the event @ £3.50 per ticket, or purchasing raffle tickets of which we have some amazing prizes for.
