Story
PLEASE SPONSOR ME TO HELP ME IMPROVE THE LIVES OF PEOPLE IN KENYA!!
In July 2018 I will be travelling to Kenya for a 4 week expedition with Camps International.
The majority of people who live in rural Kenya live below the poverty line and lack access to clean water, proper sanitation, healthcare and education.
The work that I will be taking part in will include constructing water tanks, low-level construction work and painting classrooms. The projects depend on the needs of the community.
There will also be wildlife and environment projects focused on reforesting damaged areas, maintaining wildlife perimeter fences and making elephant deterrents.
This expedition is important to me because I care about helping people that unfortunately do not have the things that we take for granted everyday such as a roof to live under, clean water and a good education. I am also interested in the Kenyan culture, the fascinating diverse population includes the world famous red-robed Maasai tribe who live along the Kenya - Tanzania border. I am excited to meet some of the welcoming community and for them to teach me some of their traditional skills.
