In the light of the 2012 London Paralympic games a sport mad friend of ours Freddie was inspired to bring more para sport to cornwall and so 3 years ago through cornwall sports partnership Kernow Boccia club was formed. We were lucky enough to receive some funding which allowed us to purchase some boccia balls and some other referee/officials kit but unfortunately we have never had officially sized legal ramps due to expense and for the duration have had to deal with using guttering/drainpipe, these are so inadequate and making accurate shots is impossible. Unfortunately Freddie past away 2 years ago and he would very much want the club to be participating in national competition, to do so the club need official licensed Boccia England "Demand Nova" ramp equipment which cost up to £1200. Please help us to raise the funds needed to get these ramps so we don't look like the Jamaican bobsleigh team in cool runnings at competition
