Hi everyone, I'm hoping to raise £1000 for the Special Care Baby Unit in Singleton hospital. Additional to this donation page I will be holding a charity auction and raffle night on October 22nd in the Half Moon Inn, Garnant, Carmarthenshire.

My eldest son, Tyler, was born by emergency c-section at 27 weeks in 2009, weighing 1lb 4oz. He had an incredibly rough start to life, spending 4 months in SCBU, needing multiple resuscitations, fighting infection after infection, blood and platelet transfusions, needing ventilation to breathe and home oxygen until nearly one year of age due to the immaturity of his lungs. The odds for him to survive were very slim but he pulled through and is now a happy (nearly) 7 year old handsome little man.
My youngest son, Corey, was also born by an emergency c-section at 29 weeks this year, weighing 1lb 14oz. He also had a rough start to life, spending 2 and a half months in SCBU, resuscitated 3 times, fighting infections, getting blood transfusions, ventilation to breathe and on home oxygen until 5 months of age. He is now a handsome, nearly, 8 month old little man.
Without singletons SCBU my baby boys would not be here, they literally saved their lives (and mine) not only did they provide outstanding care for my little soldiers but helped and supported me through the emotional rollercoaster of a journey.
Please, please, please help me to give back to these angels for everything they have done. I can't put in words how much it would mean to me :)
