In April of 2022, Dude, who is now almost 5 years old , received a diagnosis of 4h leukodystrophy—a degenerative condition. As the disease advances, he will gradually lose abilities like walking talking and self-feeding. Currently, he experiences slight tremors and struggles with emotional control. He uses a pram when he vets tired legs in time he will need a wheelchair. Our goal is to raise funds for to make it possible for us to attend the conference in Philadelphia in October. We hope to take Dude there for clinic appointments with a 4H specialist and to meet other families. Although there's no known cure, we believe that by capturing the attention of 4H specialists, they might remember Dude and consider him if a breakthrough treatment emerges. We pray daily for this dream to come true; we can't bear the thought of living without Dude, who fills our lives with his endless questions, his dominant presence, and his ability to annoy his sisters. We would do anything to spare him from this terminal illness
