Story

Im in desprate need of a new powered wheelchair. I had an accident when i was 28 years old while i was at work.

Im now 40 years old a mother of 2 and a nan of 2 and i suffer with mental health depression fibromyalgia inflamatory arthritus M.E . CPRS and Im incontinant back n front n live on a whole bag of different pain medication, morphine being the main pill .I started self harming when i was 30 years old. i found life extreamly hard because i needed the use if my legs to carry on working. I loved my job i didnt work to live i lived to work. I was a nightclub bouncer but i was the head doorperson plus i was qualified to train doorman n women, hire , n fire i was so happy in my line of work i traveled all over the uk training n working on nightclub doors. I saved a mans life who had been stabbed 8 times by putting my fingers inside the holes the knife had left behind.

my social life was fantastic i had many many friends whom i loved dearly, i was such a happy person always laughing smiling acting the clown.

But now most of my days are spent alone inside my house or with the kids . I only go out if i have to. My wheelchair gave me a new life by getting me out on outings with my family but it was only a second hand chair and it lasted me 4 years but now it has no feet rests no rubber on the controls the batterys are almost dead and well there is no head rest n is falling apart n is very unconfortable to be in fir long period of times now.

getting a new wheelchair would get me bk out into the open again enjoying this years summer n enjoying walking my dog in the park with my grandchildren my 7 year okd granddaughter gets so upset when she has to leave me behind, and it upsets me also .

I just want a life again so please be kind please help me x
