My name is Sadie Cook and I'm a 12 year old ice skater from Basingstoke. I train 6 days a week before and after school at the Planet Ice Arena in Basingstoke.

I am trying to raise funds to enable me to travel to Germany in October half term to take part in a skating camp.

During the last 12 months I have been training hard and have managed to achieve 3 national levels and I currently compete at level 6 which entails double jumps, double jump combinations in addition to spin combinations.

My goal for this season is to qualify to compete in the British championships in December to be held at Ice Sheffield. My coach feels that the skating camp would enhance my chances of qualifying as I would receive world class coaching on a 1-1 basis and attend daily seminars.
My coach also feels that it would work well for my confidence which I sometimes really struggle with.
