Story

When Olivia’s friend Phoebe lost her hair after receiving treatment for the disease Dyskeratosis Congenita Olivia wanted to give Phoebe her very own hair. Obviously this was not possible, but, Olivia could do the next best thing and have her hair cut and donate it to The Little Princess Trust in Phoebe‘s name while raising vital funds for research into this rare disease.

While Olivia put this plan into action, Olivia’s aunt and uncle were fundraising for their 5 year old son, Olivia’s cousin, Jack. Jack was diagnosed at ten months old with 1p 36 deletion syndrome and needs 24 hour around the clock care. Ideally Jack’s parents would like to raise enough money to buy a specialist wheelchair that attaches onto the back of a bike. This will enable them to take Jack out and about around our glourious countryside on a family bike ride.

Olivia wanted to help raise money for both her friend Phoebe and her cousin Jack and any monies raised will be split equally between the two causes.

Although this has taken the tiniest bit of organising, it is Olivia that is the driving force behind it, she truly believes that any money raised will really make a difference, and it will! Olivia has the biggest heart and wants to help in any way she possibly can. Hopefully the smallest gesture will make a huge impact for both families involved. Please help her to reach her target, it really will be hugely appreciated.

Thank you for reading.
