I have set up this page asking as a community we can all come together and help all the men and women who are homless and living rough on the streets of colchester. No one should have to live this way it does not matter how or why they have to come to be living this way. Yes there are shelters and soup kitchens that do a wonderfull job and help who they can. But not everyone is safe at night not everyone eats every day.... No one should have to live this way. Having to ask people in the street for small change to be able to have a drink or somthing to eat. No one would choose to live like this. Things happen to people in everyday life that we have no control over which could leave any one of us homeless.

i wish i could do more for these men and women as i cant build them homes to live in which in a ideal world is what i would love to do. we need to help and raise funds to help with warm blankets, sleeping bags, warm clothes, yes it is really hot at the mo but winter will be hear very soon shampoos, soaps ect everyday items we all take for granted. i was talking to one man the other day and he said its so nice u always stop and talk to me normally people just walk past me like i not even hear! It broke my heart all he wanted was someone to talk to...

please help me in my mission to help make life a little easier for these people
