Thomas's journey . My little boy was born with a heart defect called TGA transportation of the great arteries. He's had heart surgery at 10 days old and one cardiac arrest at 9 weeks old where we had to bring are son back to life in are home we are currently still in alder hey awaiting another heart surgery my son is now 12 weeks old he's has spent more than half his life in hospital and I am currently staying at Ronald McDonald charity housing that's runs on charity it has been peace of mind not having to pay for hotels so we can be close to are baby boy it is such great cause that help lots of families be with there sick children sometimes there's no preparing for theses things that happen to your children and knowing that that safety net is there is great but it is run by charity it cost £25 per night to run one room you get two beds cupboards draws bath/shower tv hot water electric and kitchens laundry rooms / kids play area, and lots of support if needed Ect it really is home away from home so I do hope it's running in years to come for families that really need the support I don't know where we would be if it wasn't there as are stay hasn't be short it is a charity that's very close to my heart and even a £1 donation can go along way I hope people find it in there heart to dig deep and support such a great cause whether we are mums dads grandparents uncles aunties siblings it could happen to anyone we know.
