Story

On the 5th December 2020 Kerry Quinn was in her house when lightening struck the house and set fire to the property. This was according to the fire brigade a freak accident and Kerry who is a single mum had to act swiftly to get her son out of the house to safety. Once out of the house the fire completely engulfed the house and the damage will take more than 12 months to repair. She has therefore been left homeless and all their personal belongings have been lost. We as caring neighbours are looking to the public to donate anything you can afford to allow them to at least get through Xmas and to be able to look forward to 2021 and ease the burden of this terrible tragedy. Keiran is a pupil at Portobello High School
Kerry is Overwhelmed by the love and support and also for the beautiful comments left with every cash donation. She has tried to respond to as many as she can and is grateful for all the money raised so far.
We have also asked for assistance from out local MSP and she has provided links to possible funding and Radio Forth Cash For Kids have offered to supply a Xmas present for Kieran. Thanks also to all the newspapers who have covered the story
She is very humbled that her local community have supported her and the boys during this difficult time and has asked me to thank each and every one of you...well done the response has been phenomenal!
The Just Giving page will run till the end of the year
