I Am writing to you regarding an issue regarding raising awareness of ATRT cancer. There is something i would like to ask everybody , and that is can you help us take Jordans layout to Exhibition at the Warley show at the NEC, in Birmingham in November this year. The layout in question is a charity layout aimed at raising awareness of childhood ATRT cancer but also to raise funds for the local hospital , and young jordans bucket list. I am wanting to try and keep you abreast of the current situation that we are at with Jordan and his fundraising. As you may have noticed we have now registered as a limited liability company before we go and apply to the charity commission. Jordan’s trust aims to use the funds it raises in three ways, to champion the raising of awareness of childhood ATRT cancer.

To help towards funding of further research into ATRT cancer.

To help the local cancer ward at the Sheffield children’s hospital,

The last objective of the trust was to help with raising funds towards Jordan’s Bucket fund list.

Young Jordan has improved in his health even though he still has cancer in brain near the brain stem. We have had some issues with his tracheostomy, which does cause issues of viral illness at times. He has just recently had an MRI scan for which we now have had the results and so far the cancer has not grown or spread. Jordan is also unable to eat or drink due to an unsafe swallow, which means he is fed through a peg inserted into his stomach. We sometimes struggle with Jordan because he wants to eat and drink and we have to stop him because it would do him harm.

Part of contacting you was to ask if you would like to help The Jordan Reid Model Reid model Railway project, once again we now have been confirmed as being an entrant at the Warley show in November 2018. There are a few things still lacking from this 20-foot-long by 8-foot-wide project. The first half of Jordan’s project, is a scale 1:76 replica of Sheffield Midland Mainline Station the first five platforms. We have successfully managed to involve some 3D rendering companies to come in and help us with the frontage and internal structure of the station.

We would also like to give the opportunity to Network Rail to become a sponsor for The Jordan Reid Trust. We feel that the support your company has given goes partly towards the awareness of childhood cancer. Though Jordan is only three I and his family feel we need to fight for all the other children that suffer from childhood ATRT cancer. We would like to make Jordan’s trust a recognisable name in the fight against childhood ATRT cancer.
