I've raised £7000 to The Royal Surrey Hospital

Hi my name is Kevin and I am aiming to raise money for the Royal Surrey Charity and to fulfil my dream in motor racing.
From the age of 25 I have been involved in organising successful charity events raising over £15,000 for a number of charities close to my heart. However, during a charity football match in 2019 against the Chelsea Legends, I fractured my tibia and tore ligaments & tendons in my ankle. I wasn’t aware of the extent of the damage, thinking it was just a sprain and I was determined to carry on as I was due to take part in the Prudential Ride London the following week in memory of my 6 year old niece. I went on to complete this ride but as I was to later discover, the injury had caused long term damage to my mobility. Two and a half years on I am still unable to walk long distances and live with pain from that injury.
I am now looking to get back into fundraising for my local hospital, The Royal Surrey. Not only is this a place that has provided immeasurable support to me personally but also to my beautiful children, to various members of my family and I am proud to say, the hospital where I also work. Every day I witness and am in awe of the incredible hard work, dedication and care that the Royal Surrey staff give to each and every patient they treat.
Fundraising is my passion and I wish to support the Royal Surrey Charity alongside my other passion of motor sport to raise as much as I can. I will be participating in the Peugeot 206GTi Championship which begins in just three months and wish to complete the season to inspire others that set backs and disability shouldn’t hold you back from realising your dreams!
Please join me on that journey. I am aiming to initially raise £7000 which will be split 50/50 between the Royal Surrey Charity and go towards funding my motor racing season. 100% of additional money raised above this target will go directly to the Royal Surrey Charity.
Thank you for your support.
