Hi all, we got to the hospital 2pm yesterday as hoped. We met Ryan the fundraising manager and then a nurse, Sabrina, who was the first person we met 21 years ago. She was with Barbara, another nurse that spent many hours looking after Alfie. Unexpectedly, we then visited PB and met the surgeon, Mr Wheeler, who operated on Alfie. All a bit overwhelming but absolutely lovely. Thank you all for being part of this. I shall post again with a final amount from everything. We'll keep this page open for a couple more weeks. X

So, here we are having arrived in Hythe after the New Forest. Still no blisters, just more grunts than usual when getting up from a chair! Tomorrow, just the section to the hospital to meet the chap we have been liaising with and some of the staff from the ward. Weather looks good so hopefully we'll arrive drier than when we departed last week. Thank you all for your support in raising a fantastic amount. Hi everyone. 4 days in now and over half the walk done. Last 2 days it hasn't rained! More importantly, well done all you fantastic people. You have, between you all, managed to surpass the target we set for the walk. You did that, not us and we appreciate it so much. We have 3 days of walking left. Boscombe to Lymington next.
