We are trying to raise money by doing a Sponsored Walk-

Featherstone Rovers RLFC to Batley Bulldogs RLFC on 10th April 2026 10am start.

Beverley’s Pink Weekend was started at Batley Bulldogs in 2013 by Beverley Nicholas to raise money for Breast Cancer Charities (namely Coppafeel, Breast Cancer Now and Against Breast Cancer) and so far we have raised £228,000 but this year we want to make it to £250,000 if possible and this is our first fundraiser of 2026.

It has become even more importanf to us this year when one of our players Luke Cooper found out his wife Becca Cooper has Breast Cancer and she has just started her treatment. We want to show our support for them and their two children at this difficult time. Luke also gave great service to Featherstone Rovers RLFC hence the walk between the two Clubs. A walk of solidarity with Becca by the RL Community. So we also hope to help their family due to extra expenses with Luke retiring and Becca having to give up work probably for most of this year. Hence we will share any monies raised.
