Story
The crew of Lancaster bomber LM756 were amongst the very last casualties of WW2 after being shot down whilst bombing Hitler's mountain retreat at Berchtesgaden. Their aircraft were shot down and crashed over the Austrian border in the town of Adnet just South of Salzberg. There are many parts of the Lancaster LM756 still in Adnet being looked after by the town Mayor Wolfgang Auer. He has kindly offered to allow them to be returned back to Britain to go to suitable Bomber Command museums.
