As some of you know, my wonderful dad, Les, was recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. For those that dont know, MND is a a dibilitating disease that affects the brain and nervous system. It will eventually lead to him requiring assistance with his day to day life. There is no cure, although it can be medicated.
We have so far raised over £2500 for the MND association through a sponsored skydive.
This time I'm looking to raise funds to help toward any house adaptations that will be required, making life easier for both my mum and dad.
Those of you who know my dad will know what a brilliantly selfless man he is. He gave Adam, Tom and I the best of starts in life. Now it's our turn to support him during this hard time.
We're hosting a charity football day on the 10th of October between 12-4pm at the Pits Powerleague Liverpool. Followed by food and drinks at the meadows pub in Maghull.
