Hi I've started this crownding page to raise much needed funds for a very special cause.

I'm 43 & I've had been in heart failure for about 3 years caused by Dilated Cardiomyopathy.
I had been listed in the Heart Transplant list for 6mth when on 10th Dec 2016 I got "The Call", the op was carried put in the 11th.
4 weeks later, I'm home & fitter than ever.

Here in the UK we have this amazing thing we call the NHS.
Doctors & Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Physiotherapy, Office Staff, Porters & Cleaners who all work around the clock to give us the care & medical help we need - no questions, it's just done.

The Transplant Units "New Heart - New Start" charity @ The University Hospital of South Manchester (UHSM), has to rely on donations to help them provide the services they because the NHS just cannot afford to pay for everything.
Please help us raise as much as possible to help others, who, like me, would be in a very different position with them.
Money raised doesn't pay for the operations or the "run-of-the-mill" stuff, it pays for the upkeep of 4 bungalows that are used by familys who have to travels for miles & miles to be with their loved ones during their stay at the hospital.
It also pays for extra Physio equipment and other things for the "JIM QUICK" ward - a special ward just for Transplant Recipients.

We also need to raise awareness of Heart / Lung disease and the need for donors.

Regardless of money, these operations are only possible due to the huge kindness of a donor and his/her family.

Please donate whatever you can and get yourself on the orgon donor register.
