Story

hi guys and guyettes

we are hoping people will help us to create a beautiful fitting memorial for a beautiful amazing woman inside and out. Who had so much love in her heart.

Elizabeth worked more than hard all of her days and worked for over 10years at a care home, with many of the ladies around her she cared for adored her.

Liz was a fun, a lively carefree soul, a great friend who would be there to listen or give advice, she never judged anyone and would give help to anyone if they needed it

Elizabeth Mcgurk or Liz to everyone who knew her, sadly passed away suddenly 17th august this year aged 69.

Liz was a much loved mother and devoted her life to her 2 sons, her dream came true when she became a grandmother to our son Connor. Thankfully she had 8 months of being a proud granny to her little grandson Connor, she was so proud of him, i cant use the word love as it is niot a strong enough word for her feelings for him.

Even though she passed in August she had already bought him a Christmas card with his name on the front. which was also spelled correctly as his has a different spelling.

The problem we are facing is is unfortunatley there is not alot of space left to make a tribute we feel is fitting enough for such an amazing woman. There are only a few lines left on the original headstone of her husband who sadly passed away when he was only 26 leaving Liz to bring up an 11mth old and an newborn baby all by herself.

It is 2 pound a letter to be engraved onto the headstone.

we would like to try and get something special for her and get an additional memorial beside it if we could getr a butterfly with onje wing saying devoted mother, the other devoted grandmother.

The funds left over would be donated with a photo to the british heart foundation.
