Unfortunately, it's an undeniable fact that reliance on food banks is growing. No one should have to choose between eating or heating their home, especially this time of year.

That's why I've set up this page to raise funds for our local food bank, the Key 2 Life (Previously bread of life) Food Bank in South Shields - https://www.facebook.com/breadoflifesouthtyneside/

We're aiming to raise funds to help support local families at one of the hardest times of the year. If there's one thing people of South Shields do best, it's sticking together. That's why I'm sure we can rely on the incredible community spirit and generosity the town has always shown.

The food bank is run by volunteers to serve the people of South Tyneside. People must be referred to the food bank by a support agency, and don't accept self-referrals, so you can be assured all of your donations will go 100% to people who need it most.
