Story

We have successfully produced three Corridors of Life films, all now available on YouTube. These stories explore the ecological and human landscapes that make up this unique corridor system.

We still have two important stories left to tell.

The first focuses on the socio-cultural context of the corridor and the Indigenous people connected to this land. In the Kranshoek community, we learn from the First Peoples of Robberg, listening to their stories and understanding how they fit into the broader living corridor. This film takes a journalistic approach, allowing these voices to come through while also exploring the future of the corridor, where development, land history, and social justice are as important as wildlife movement and the removal of fences.

The second film goes deeper into the Langkloof, sharing the perspectives of two farm owners living within this landscape, adding another layer to the complexity of life in the corridor.

To complete these final two films, we need to return to the corridor to collect more stories through independent journalistic fieldwork.

If you feel moved to support this project, please consider contributing to help us finish these final chapters.

We hope the Corridors of Life series inspires you to engage more deeply with the stories and landscapes that shape this region.
