Story
Hello, my name is Sam, I'm 25 and have lived in Kettering all of my life, I was born in Kettering General and unfortunately for me spent at a lot of my last 10 years there in various departments and with various doctors. I, like most of the people I know have at one time or another accessed Kettering General Hospital and been helped, whether that be the fab HCA's updating you on your loved ones status to having been treated or even saved by one of the amazing Doctors, you got help. I know I certainly have.
Right now those people that helped you need help. They are fighting the same virus we all are but they are right on the frontline. They are likely to be working in difficult conditions in the weeks ahead looking after the sickest of our community.
KGH needs us now just like we need them.
As of 2019 the population of the Kettering Borough was 93, 475.
18, 666 were children.
That leaves 74, 809 adults.
If every adult gave £1 to this fund we could give KGH staff fighting Covid-19 £74, 809!! That amount of money would make such an incredible difference not only to the KGH staff but also to you and your loved ones.
How the money will be spent;
Protective equipment – such as masks, gloves, aprons and other items
Other ways to support staff welfare and support such as dedicated down time rooms for rest
So I suppose the question is would you pay £1 to keep the people saving us alive?
