I had my daughter in my early twenties and she was the sweetest little thing.
From a young age she has always shown behavioural issues stealing and lying were couple, it was alot worse when her dad would see her for few weeks and than dissappear! I've taken her to the GP, and like everyone else was told their was nothing wrong.
Than she started secondary school and her behaviour turned for the worse!
I understand all teenagers go through changes, for my daughter it was more than teenage behaviour. She's never been able to hold down a friendship, so kept jumping from people to people. She'd speak to random people and would walk off with them. She needed attention all the time and started to put herself in situations where she was taken advantage off and exploited!!
Two years ago my worse nightmare came true as she was sexually assaulted by a group of boys. The following day a video of the incidence started circling the school which made me pull her out of that school.
The police couldn't prosecute due to the lack of evidence!! I tried to get the social, exploitation and mental health team to support her properly. They kept repeating their was nothing wrong with her! Her behaviour continued to decline and no one would help me!
The mental health team were adamant nothing was wrong with her. Years later they eventually gave her a vague diagnosis!! Apparently she suffers from Attachment Disorder, Behavioural issues and borderline autism spectrum disorder. 4 years on still no improvement.
Through this whole process the continuous stress impacted my own mental health.
Which lead to a life threatening surgery in 2018, I was rushed into emergency surgery as I was internally bleeding to death. That trauma triggered a mental breakdown and I've still not seen a specialist to help with therapy.

I would love to see my daughter smile and lead a happy & prosperous life, for me I would love to live again!
