The Khora van needs a new clutch urgently ! Khora is a multifunctional community centre providing compassionate support to refugees and those in need in Athens. We offer daily language classes, food, information on services around athens, legal advice & much much more.



The van at Khora is in constant use by us and other grassroots organisations in Athens. In the past the van has been used for emergency blanket and food distribution, distributing donations from Elliniko warehouse, a taxi service from camps to athens, market runs to provide food for Khora and partner organisations, assisting independent projects logistically.

We desperately need the van over the next two weeks as we will be in the process of moving building. We will also continue to provide services externally whilst the building is closed and we heavily rely on the van for this. You can read more about the building move on Khora’s Facebook page

The mechanic has estimated the price of a new clutch (along with other parts that need to be fixed) at around 950 euros. We realise this is quite a high price, any contribution towards this cost will be greatly appreciated and directly help us to continue providing much needed services and support which the van makes possible
