What is crowdfunding?

Story
Hi I am a 15 year old lad from Derbyshire and I am going through a rough patch at the moment in terms of financial demand, this is very unfortunate as my one and only passion has been bridged away from me. This money could help me fund one race cost and potentially get sponsors, this is for one round only as the game of racing is a rich mans game.
