Story
My Dad, Brian Kenny turned 75 on 23rd July 2022 & he abseiled down the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on his birthday. By doing this he hopes he can raise funds to buy & install defibrillators in New Brighton & Merseyside.
When my Dad was 17, he lost his mother to cardiac arrest - then later in life, two of his brothers & uncle died of the same cause. No defibrillators were available back then.
By launching Kick-start a Heart we hope we can save lives & make New Brighton a safer place to live & visit ❤️
We aim to raise as much as possible, with defibrillators costing at least £1000 each to purchase & install. The minimum target of Kick-start a Heart is to buy & install 5 defibrillators in New Brighton.
