I have been travelling to Kenya since a young girl with my family, on our travels to Kenya we have been visiting local schools, orphanages and villages. We have been succesful in fundraising in the past to provide daily items to these children that are in need and to also help the local families in providing food and clothes.

We are currently helping a school that needs YOUR help as well as ours. This school is based in one of the local villages, in shanzu called the good hope junior school a local volunteer gives up her time everyday to help the local children in learning as they can not to afford to go to a government run school. They are currentley learning in poor circumstances, 30+ children sitting on a dirty floor all day, where some will share one bench. Their school is built like a tin shed so when the rainy season comes, they are getting very wet!

Our goal is to build a brick school, and to provide school materials such as stationery, text books and uniforms.

We have also met a guy that can build tables and benches for these children but again this costs money.
