Kidz 4 Kidz are raising money to buy a All-Terrain wheelchair for 6 year old Alex. who was diagnosed with SMA Type 2 in 2017.

The chair will cost £14'500, however this includes accessories to enable it to be used by a child, as Alex grows the chair can be adapted to suit his height and build, meaning it is a piece of equipment that can be used for the rest of his life.

Alex's family have fundraised and fought for equipment to assist Alex in the past; and (along with family and friends) they have raised £3'000 towards the chair that Alex needs.

Alex is such a friendly, confident little boy and has always coped well with his situation. recently though Alex has started to notice his limitations. this has caused him to start getting very upset about the fact the cant keep up with his friends in the play ground, because he isn't as fast he feels like he's missing out and being left behind.

Kidz4Kidz have met with Alex and his parents and we are sorting a number of fundraisers (80s Night, Sponsored Walk, Fundraising Auction Night, Ultra Warrior, sale of limited edition prints by graphic designer DaveRob, and of course our usual Show Night). Proceeds from all of these events will go towards Alex's Wheelchair Funds.

Alex likes Minecraft, music and maths! He has picked a song he likes and is going to sing in our next show, along with the Kidz4Kidz cast - which he has said he's excited and nervous about!
