MDF - KidzPatrol Texas Flood Relief Fund.

Words cannot begin to describe the catastrophic situation which has unfolded in Houston & South East Texas. Following the devastating destruction by Hurricane Harvey; Texas has seen approximately 9 trillion gallons of water unloaded on the residents living in the area. Already; 11 people have died and it is estimated that 3000 homes in one area alone, are currently under water.

The families living in those homes have lost everything in floods of horrific proportions - and water levels are continuing to rise.

It will take these people many years to rebuild their lives and some will have lost members of their families.

Our goal is to raise £50000 (just over $64k in USD) to help these people, and the children of Texas in particular. These funds will be passed to the First Responders who are working hard to help rescue these people, and help them to help these people at least begin to rebuild what these devastating floods have taken away.

We will be using the funds to help the children to replace clothes, toys and school equipment so that they may receive at some comfort and emotional support after such devastation. These children will be likely terrified and such an emotional impact of this disaster will affect them for months and even years. It is so important to reach out to them to provide much-needed emotional support.
