I've raised £7500 to help the theatre with ongoing running costs during this difficult period through Coronavirus.

Kidz R Us is a registered charity dedicated to developing young people through practical engagement in the performing arts and helping to increase their confidence and maturity. Kidz produces four to five large scale musicals every year, involving young people from aged 6 and up 21 years. Skills development and rehearsals take place on two nights a week. We also hold regular weekend master classes with professionals from the theatre, including choreographers, directors, stage combat, and sound and lighting experts.
We own the theatre in which we rehearse and perform our shows. We also lease a unit in St Erth which houses all our costumes and our bigger props. It costs us £2,000 every week to keep the theatre running and this is helped by contributions from kids' subscriptions, performance income and generous donations from our patrons and supporters. There are no paid employees at the theatre and we are run entirely by volunteers.
Anyone visiting will be aware of the amazing productions we put on, and the importance the theatre and these productions hold for our young people, many of whom are finding isolation a challenge. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are struggling to pay our bills and would welcome donations from friends and visitors, near and far, who understand and value what we do for our young people and our community. We really want to survive this and, like many organisations, rely on the help and support of our people.
Thank you so very much.
