If you've never heard of Priscilla Bacon Lodge then that probably means you've never had a loved one who needed them. But to some, it's a service so valuable, it's crucial they get the financial backing they require.

Priscilla Bacon Lodge is a Specialist Palliative Care centre providing advice and support for any patients with life limiting illness and those close to them.

As well as top notch medical care and pain management, they also offer psychological support and complimentary therapies to aid in the care they give and finally, comfort and dignity in patients final days.

My Mother In Law has been bravely battling cancer for years now but unfortunately the pain has become too much and so PBL are helping her manage her symptoms and reduce sickness in order for her to make the most of her time with us. The care she has received is second to none and so me and a group of my friend are doing Tough Mudder to raise some much needed funds for this fantastic service.
They are always trying to expand the centre so nobody with life limiting illnesses have to suffer and have previously used money raised to build an outhouse where patients can go to enjoy the tranquil garden instead of being stuck inside.

As a family, we would do anything to not be in this situation. But we feel so incredibly grateful to have such a great facility in our community and will do anything we can to back them.

So if you can spare even a pound we would be ever so grateful.
