Story

Ali has overcome physical difficulties, non verble and unable to sign which makes him very vulnerable In public spaces. He was unable to walk a couple of years ago and now after a major operation and lots of rehabilitation he needs constant supervision. He's a real livewire who likes to run and explore with no understanding of danger, very sociable and trusting.

We have not been able to acces any assistance dog scheme due to huge waiting lists and little opportunity. £3500 would enable us to buy a trained dog and we would match fund another £2350 for additional assistance dog training bespoke to Ali's needs

He needs an assistance dog to mind him at night as he sleep walks and can get himself in difficult situations.

We as parents might get a better night sleep if his k9 carer would observe and mind him for us as a means of helping us to solve our problem,:

His affection for pets is beautiful so we applied for an assistance dog from various charities last year but have no chance within an application until at least next year and more likely 2019.

An assistance dog would be trained by a privatre k9 trainer with a specific programme unique to Ali. Your support would enable us to solve a family problem with two other children aged 2&6. Most importantly it would give Ali more indipendance within his community and wellbeing.
