Story

I've been suffering with Depression for over 2 years, I didn't want anyone to feel as alone as I did so I started recording me talking about my own experience and posting on social media in the hope others who are struggling feel comfortable to talk about their problems. From there I started to support many people on social media, friends, strangers, anyone who saw my posts in the hope the stigma surrounding Mental Health is opened up and we all feel comfortable talking about how we feel.

My bike was more than my transport to and from work, it was my go to when things got too much in my head. Wether it was day or night and my head started to hurt I would get out on my bike and relax.

I had planned when the weather got better to get out to alot of the people I'm supporting to meet face to face and establish better relationships with them.

Unfortunately these plans where taken off me by someone who couldn't steal my bike so set fire to it instead

I now have no outlet for my own head and my plan to get out to the people I'm supporting is all gone, I also lost my high paid position because I was unable to get into work on time anymore.

Itl take me years to save that amount to replace what was taken from me, but itl take along time for me to accept the loss of something that was so much more than a bike.
