Story
Kieron Macklin has bravely battled a series of complicated illnesses during his short life. He eventually lost his battle to Covid-19, which he caught whilst in hospital, receiving treatment for pneumonia.
At the age of 36 he has left a wife and three young children under the age of 14, who are struggling to cope. The family have spent all their time, energy, and money helping Kieron through his ongoing battles with poor health. This has left them with very limited means.
Kieron's sudden and unexpected death has left his family devastated and financially struggling to cope with the high funeral costs and related expenses. Any financial support would be gratefully received and welcomed by the family. Please offer your support, and donate if you can.
Messages of support can also be left in the section below.
(Through astounding generosity of family, friends, and benefactors, we are ell on our way to raising the money that his family need. We are constantly amazed at people's generosity, and thank you very much indeed. His family need all the help that they can get. Thank you to everyone that has supported us so far, but the fight is far from over)
Thank you.

3 years agoWith the support of 81 of you, many of you strangers, we raised the initial amount that we wanted to raise, and almost managed the secondary target ...missing it by just £76. I can't adequately express just how grateful the family is to you all. Your kind words and donations show just how much of an impact Kieron made in people's lives, and just how much he will be remembered, and missed. We will be sending individual thank you messages to you all over the next day or so, but I just wanted to briefly say a communal 'Thank You' to you all.

3 years agoI feel like an idiot, cos today at his funeral I forgot to read out the poem I wrote for the occasion: The Covid pandemic has wrought a terrible cost, leaving families devastated ...so many lives lost. You fought so hard, but eventually lost the fight and the world is dimmer without your precious light. Your bravery was legendary, and I want you to know that your spirit will live on in me, wherever I may go. So rest in peace, and despite the sadness we cannot hide we pray that you find the rest, that in life you were often denied. Much love!
