I've raised £1700 to HELP US REACH THE TOP OF KILIMANJARO FOR MENINGITIS NOW

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
DATE TO BE CONFIRMED
I will be taking on a challenge of a life time, I will be climbing to the top of KILIMANJARO all to raise as much money for Meningitis Now.
Can I get meningitis? Yes - meningitis and septicaemia often happen together and can affect anyone at any age. Both can kill within hours and can leave those who survive with life-changing after-effects.
Meningitis Now is working towards a future where no-one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.
Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano located in Tanzania, Africa. It is famous for being the highest mountain in Africa and is one of the ‘Seven Summits’ of the World.
It is located in the Kilimanjaro National Park in Tanzania, near to the country’s border with Kenya. The average temperature at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro is -7°C (19°F).
We will be climbing the Machame route in a six-day ascent that will take us through both the blistering heat and freezing cold, in dense rain forests and extremely thin air, we could be climbing for up to ten hours a day, whilst sleeping in basic Tents up the mountain. Over the next 14 months we will be training hard in the lead up to the event.
I would be very grateful for any donation to help hit my target and hopefully go beyond.
The total cost of the climb will be £1650. In order for us to take part, we will be using some of the raised funds towards the total cost of the climb.
Meningitis Now is a registered charity in England and Wales number 803016
