Story
Based in the seaside town of Donaghadee, County Down, Killard House School provides for children and young people with additional special educational needs. These include Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and associated Emotional barriers.
Killard House provides an education for pupils aged 3-18. The school has a vibrant Nursery and Post 16 departments.
There are ten staff members (teachers and classroom assistants) creating two relay teams, taking part in this year's Belfast Marathon.
KHS runners are raising money to go towards our school charity fund. We will also be splitting donations with our chosen charity - Action Cancer - chosen because SO many of our staff and pupils' families have been effected by cancer. In particular, we will be remembering Claire Millar, who would have often run along side us, and who is sorely missed.
