There are approximately 4,500 deaths from strokes, in Scotland every year. The Acute Stroke Unit at Crosshouse Hospital in Ayrshire works tirelessly to save as many lives as possible and provide the essential care to rehabilitate patients.

With strokes affecting so many of us, our family and friends - especially of late - we wanted to give something back to those who have cared for our loved ones.

To raise funds and help support the work of this award-winning stroke unit, Kilwinning Netball Club will be hosting a charity netball match against an all-male team from Dual Fitness gym.
