Hello, my name is Kim I am 20 years old. I have been struggling with health problems for the last 8 years. This year I was actually diagnosed. I have Chiari malformation, there is not a lot of information but Ann Conroy Trust is a website that provides more information. This is where my brain is swollen and pushed into the top of my spinal cord, making my cord swell.
I have a lot of side effects due to this such as the right side of my body going numb, extreme migraines, the left side of my body is currently hypersensitive. I am slowly loosing my ability to do the smallest things.
My hospital specialist has told me I will have to go for multiple operations, which wont necessarily correct the issue but stop it before it can progress and paralyze me.
I work full time and I have had to go off of work due to this and I am struggling to pay all my bills and get food in as I am unable to get any support. .
If it was possible to get any help it would be appreciated as I don't know what else to do. I just need a little help until I can get back into work.
