    Story

I’m fundraising second private prosthetic hand and raising money to buy much need vital equipment needed for the rest of my life, the fundraising we‘ve done so far has enabaled me to buy my first bionic hand and its truly amazing! I became unwell whilst in Spain, on the 29th November 2017 i was admitted to hospital and put straight into an induced coma

I spent 9 weeks in total in a coma, 6 in Spain and then 3 back in the UK, i was woken to be told all 4 limbs needed to be removed to save my life, i had already seen they were black and knew so told them yes just get them off, im so very grateful to the NHS for saving my life

can you imagine how frustrating it is when youve always been very hard working and independant, well without hands i am reliant on others with help to do everything, so i need hands desperately, im wanting private ones as they have far more function than the NHS so i will be able to do so much more

i used to be a hairdresser so not being able to do my hair like i used to is very frustrating, i often break down and cry because of my hair, but loosing my limbs hasnt really bothered me, i just get on with life, you only have one life i intend to live it not mope around, i cant wait to be able to cook again and do lots of other things we take for granted with hands !

i appreciate every single penny that has been donated so far which has enabled me to buy my very first hero arm, you can follow my progress and see my arm here: https://m.facebook.com/Kims-Chance-1506708116112720/
