Story
If you are able to donate, even a small amount it will help ensure no one currently receiving support through Gryff’s Mind Space is left mid-journey.
Thank you for taking the time to visit this page.
When we introduced counselling and holistic therapies through Gryff’s Mind Space, we did so because we could see the need in our community.
Children, adults and families reached out — navigating grief, neurodivergence, poor mental health, suicidality and complex life experiences that can feel overwhelming to face alone.
Over time, the demand for this support has grown significantly.
Providing therapeutic services responsibly requires strong governance, sustainable funding, and operational capacity. For a small team, the scale this work has grown to is now beyond what we can sustainably deliver while maintaining the standards of care people deserve.
Rather than overextend or risk compromising quality, we have made the difficult but responsible decision to pause this phase of our work.
Our priority now is to close this chapter properly and ensure that no one currently receiving support is left mid-journey.
The £12,000 we are raising will help us:
• Ensure current clients can safely complete their counselling or therapeutic support
• Cover the operational and staffing costs required to conclude this phase responsibly
• Stabilise the organisation as we transition into a signposting and guidance role for the community
£12 from 1,000 people would reach our Target...Please Share
While we pause direct therapy provision, Gryff’s Mind Space will remain present. We will continue to connect individuals and families with appropriate services and support as they navigate next steps.
Gryff’s Mind Space was born in Narberth and exists because of this community.
If you are able to donate, share this page, or support one of our upcoming fundraising initiatives, it would mean a great deal.
Thank you for standing with us.
Some Client Feedback ...
I couldn't have asked for a better support system from you. My counsellor was brilliant and I would highly recommend Gryff's mind space again and again. Thank you Gryff's Mind Space truly, for your help.
Gryff’s mind space has created the channels and opportunity to support my daughter invaluably with the most safe and supportive, holistic approach, which she would not have been able to receive without. I am so grateful for this opportunity and this work has helped her significantly, thank you
Gryffs mind space was a place that young people could come to regardless of their background or opportunities and be heard. I was in denial for 2 years after we lost Gryff that I needed help - I eventually came to realise I couldn’t do it on my own and Gryffs Mind Space connected me with my councillor. I didn’t realise how important it was to have another person withdrawn from your situation to talk to - but it was. I was given tools and support that I would never have found if it weren’t for Gryffs Mind Space. It’s given me the power of asking for help and I'm truly grateful for what they did for me and any other young person struggling.
GMS is amazing, and I am very grateful for it. The therapy that was funded for me supported me through the most difficult time of my life. It allowed me to access support that was my choice and that I wouldn't be able to afford myself. This gave me dignity and autonomy, especially after really horrible experiences with NHS therapies. The therapy GMS funded is the reason I'm here today.
Gryff’s Mind Space is an invaluable charity. They have supported my son over the last 6 months offering counselling and massage. The councillors and therapist are all lovely, very kind and professional. These sessions have enabled my son to feel better about himself, give him confidence and help him to move forward from the dark place he was in. Thank you to all at Gryff’s Mind Space.
I’d like to thank Gryff’s Minds Space for the support they have provided and for enabling me to get counselling and alternative therapy which has had a positive impact on my mental health. Can’t thank Gryff’s Mind space enough.
I lost my brother to suicide nearly three years ago. My world crumbled. I was suffering ptsd to trauma and severe pain in my jaw due to arthritis flare up. I managed to get treatment and support through GMS which I am so grateful for. Tanya gave me a course of healing and kinesiology. It really helped me through one of the most heartbreaking times.
