Hey everyone <3

Many of you will know about the passing of our beloved daughter Brandy last November. Brandy lived a long life full of love, laughter and adventures (although it doesn't take away the pain and difficulty we feel missing her) and her strong little spirit now lives on, with us.

In 2011, I adopted Brandy in Sliema, Malta (yes, she has her own little Maltese passport!).

Malta is only a small country (770x smaller than the UK) with several small animal sanctuaries.

As it's my birthday on the 22nd of January, I want to raise some funds for the Association for Abandoned Animals (AAA, Malta).

The AAA Malta have an Instagram and Facebook page too, have a look at the incredible work they do.

In a recent case from December, they rescued a little chihuahua called Billy - malnourished and with a broken jaw. This was a case of severe neglect.

The biggest costs for animal sanctuaries like the AAA are not just the running of the shelter, but the medical costs of medication and surgeries needed to treat the injuries the animals come in with.

Although I did not adopt Brandy at this sanctuary, I am fairly sure that some of Bee's relatives will have walked through their doors over the years, and I think they will really appreciate our help.
